A Story
What I know best is character driven stories. I believe we want to watch other people win, fail, stumble, die, laugh, cry, hope and vomit. So this is what I think is my area of expertise and if it’s not yours, I can help you with that.
The Story
This is the film production company Zero - fullt noll AB’s portfolio site. Zero is formerly known as Inbreed film and it is more or less a “one man operation” run by Johan Karrento.
In 20 years Johan Karrento has made about 50 films of variable length and genre. A lot of them have been short documentaries and short fiction and they have been broadcasted on TV in different countries in Europe and on film festivals around this flat planet. The main distributor has been the public service TV channel YLE in Finland.
I believe there is one thing that experience can provide and that is perspective, which includes some other other things I’ve learned:
You have a network.
You know a little about what works and what not.
You become good at planning, which saves time, money and energy.
You know people. Those you already know and sometimes also those you don't know.
You know it's not about you, it's about the project.
You know that you don’t know everything.
